Sussex have announced that Australia batsman George Bailey will join the team for the second half of the NatWest T20 Blast campaign this summer.
The 32-year-old will replace Mahela Jayawardene as the club's overseas player and will also be available for the team's Royal London One-Day Cup games.
"I'm delighted that I will be heading to Hove to represent Sussex this English summer," Bailey told the club's official website. "I really enjoyed my time in the county game in 2013 with Hampshire and I am looking forward to testing myself once more in one of the toughest domestic cricket environments.
"I have heard excellent things about the set-up at Sussex and we have a really exciting squad that I believe can mount title challenges in all formats in 2015."
Bailey has featured in 28 T20 games for Australia, as well as 50 times in one-day internationals, scoring more than 2000 runs.
