Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United duo Lisandro Martinez and Diogo Dalot next year, with the Red Devils believed to be willing to listen to offers for both players.

Martinez and Dalot are both regarded to be key players at Old Trafford, with the pair a part of Ruben Amorim's first-choice XI at the club, but it is understood that the duo are not off-limits when it comes to potential sales.

There has recently been speculation surrounding Martinez, with the Argentina international's suitability for the Premier League again being called into question due to his lack of height and struggles when it comes to defending set-pieces.

Dalot has been used as a right-sided and left-sided wing-back since Amorim's arrival, but it is believed that the new manager wants to bring in specialists in both of those positions over the next couple of transfer windows.

According to talkSPORT, Real Madrid are keen on both Martinez and Dalot, with the Spanish and European champions potentially launching an eye-catching double swoop in 2025.

Real Madrid 'interested in Man United defenders Martinez, Dalot'

The report claims that Martinez is viewed as a leading target when it comes to the centre-back spots at Bernabeu, while Dalot is an alternative to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Los Blancos remain determined to sign Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, but the England international is still being expected to pen a new contract at Anfield in the not too distant future.

Martinez made the move to Man United from Ajax in the summer of 2022, and he has represented the Red Devils on 79 occasions in all competitions, including 20 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign.

The Argentina international was restricted to just 14 outings in all competitions last term due to injury problems, but he does appear to have now overcome his fitness issues.

Dalot, meanwhile, arrived at Old Trafford from Porto in 2018, and he has turned out for his current side on 181 occasions, including 24 appearances during the current season.

Should Man United entertain offers for the duo?

Dalot was Man United's Players' Player of the Year last season, and there is no question that Martinez has been one of the team's most consistent performers during a difficult period in the club's history.

Tough decisions will need to be made in the transfer market in order to help Man United achieve their goals, though, with funds needing to be generated through player sales.

With that in mind, serious offers for Dalot and Martinez should both be considered, and the Red Devils would much rather sell the duo to a foreign club than to another Premier League outfit.
