Ricky Ponting believes that his confidence has returned and has warned India that he will not rest on his Sydney century.
The 37-year-old scored his first ton in two years during the second Test victory but claims that there is much more to come from him.
Ponting said: "Confidence is everything in our game as we all know and understand.
"I've said it for a while now that if I got to those three figures then hopefully it's the start of something big for me again, so that's the way I'm looking at it."
The former captain will be hoping to carry his good form into the third Test in Perth which begins on Friday morning.
