Cricket Australia have appointed former international players Rod Marsh and Andy Bichel as national team selectors.
Marsh and Bichel will form part of a national team selection panel, which will be chaired by John Inverarity.
The move comes after Australia's cricket administration was restructured following the Argus review.
A review of cricket in Australia was conducted following their Ashes loss to England and their fall from the number one spot in the Test rankings.
"Andy Bichel has had success in the shortest form of the game since his retirement as a test new ball bowler and he and Rod bring complementary skills to the selection table to those of John Inverarity," said Pat Howard, Cricket Australia's general manager for team performance.
Marsh played 96 Test matches for Australia, while Bichel was a member of Australia's 2003 World Cup-winning side.
Australia are currently playing South Africa in the first Test match of a two-Test series.
