Australia have eased to a four-wicket victory over Sri Lanka to secure a 2-0 win in their T20 series.
Earlier this week, Australia set a new world-record score in the shortest format of the game and although they could not match the fireworks of that display, they comfortably registered another triumph over their hosts.
Sri Lanka started the game well but only two of their players ended the innings in double figures, with Dhananjaya de Silva hitting a resolute 62 off 50 balls.
However, his team could only post a total of 128-9 off their 20 overs and Australia soon set about reaching that target as David Warner and Glenn Maxwell put on 93 for the first wicket inside 8.3 overs.
Maxwell eventually went for an excellent 66 runs from 29 deliveries, while Warner contributed 25 as Australia eased to within touching distance of victory.
Sri Lanka fought hard during the closing stages to reduce Australia to 120-6 but with 13 balls left, the tourists finally got over the line without further alarm.
