England have granted Adil Rashid permission to play for the Yorkshire Vikings against the Durham Jets and Derbyshire Falcons this week.
The all-rounder was included in the England squad for the ongoing first Ashes Test in Cardiff, but he was not picked in the team, with Moeen Ali having been preferred as the spinning option.
As a result, the 27-year-old has been released from his international commitments to represent his county in their two upcoming T20 Blast encounters.
In his last Twenty20 outing for the Vikings against Leicestershire, Rashid ended with bowling figures of 1-27, while he contributed three runs with the bat.
