Former captain Nasser Hussain has urged England's senior players to lead by example and avoid a 5-0 drubbing Down Under in The Ashes.
Australia dominated a tourist side featuring several youngsters during the first and second Tests, before securing a victory by 150 runs on Tuesday in the third clash in Perth to end a run of three straight defeats in the when battling for the urn.
"I just hope that some of the England guys with all those caps to their name and those fine records are not starting to think about life beyond cricket," Hussain wrote in the Daily Mail.
"The last thing England need is to lose this series 5-0, because then the mental scarring starts to afflict them when it's been afflicting Australia for the previous three series."
The fourth Test gets underway late on Christmas Day in Melbourne.
