England bowler Mark Wood has described the team's victory in the first Ashes Test as "fantastic".
The Three Lions secured a 169-run win with a day to spare in Cardiff on Saturday thanks to a devastating display with the ball.
Wood ended the match with four wickets to his name, with Chris Rogers, Nathan Lyon, Adam Voges and Shane Watson all falling to the 25-year-old.
"It's fantastic to go 1-0 up," he told Sky Sports News. "We put the pressure on Australia and they didn't expect that. We bowled to our strengths on this pitch. When the crowd started singing 'stand up if you're 1-0 up', I was laughing. I was doing my best to stay professional."
The second Test gets underway at Lord's on July 16.
