India bowled England out for just 161 to win the second one-day international by 133 runs and take a 1-0 lead in the five-game series.
After the first ODI in Cardiff was washed out in Bristol, today's game in Cardiff was also disrupted by rain, but they were able to finish.
India got off to a slow start in their innings after losing the toss and being put into bat by England. They recovered, though, to post a target of 305 for the hosts.
Alastair Cook and Alex Hales began England's innings well, making it to 54 without loss when Cook was out lbw to Mohammed Shami.
From there, the hosts lost the remaining nine wickets for 107 runs, with Hales's score of 40 the best of the bunch.
The third match takes place at Nottingham's Trent Bridge on Saturday.
