Ian Bell has claimed that Peter Moores has learned from the mistakes he made during his first spell in charge of the England team.
Moores recently returned as head coach, despite being sacked by the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2009 shortly after falling out with Kevin Pietersen, but Bell believes that the 51-year-old is approaching the role slightly differently now.
"He probably understands international cricket a bit more," the Warwickshire batsman told reporters.
"He is a very good coach with really good qualities and I am sure he has learned from his mistakes.
"Maybe he will go away from looking at stats all the time and give us more responsibility."
Moores started his second spell as head coach by watching his side beat Scotland on Friday.
