England bowler Stuart Broad is struggling with an ankle injury ahead of the first Test match in Galle.
The paceman finished with figures of 3-55 against a Sri Lankan Development XI on the first of a three-day match.
However, the 25-year-old sprained his ankle after tripping over the boundary rope before the match against Sri Lanka Board XI.
"I'd suggest it's okay, I wouldn't say 100%," said Broad. "It's a little sore but with another week I think it will pull up fine."
The Development XI finished the day on 376-5 as Andy Flower's men toiled in the field.
