England finished day one of the first Test against West Indies on 341-5.
Ian Bell made 143 with Joe Root hitting 83 and Ben Stokes scoring 71 not out as England recovered from a poor start in Antigua.

The 171-run partnership of Bell and Root settled England as they began to grab a foothold on the match.
Root was dismissed by Jerome Taylor (2-89), before Bell reached his century after 194 balls. Bell was dismissed by Kemar Roach in the penultimate over of the day, with Stokes adding a quick 71 in the latter part of the day.
Stokes and James Tredwell will continue at the crease tomorrow.
