The cricketing world pays tribute to the retiring James Taylor on Twitter.

The discovery of a serious heart condition left James Taylor with no option but to call time on his cricket career earlier today.

Aged just 26, the Nottinghamshire batsman made seven Test appearances for England and featured a further 27 times at one-day international level.

Clearly a popular figure among his peers, Twitter has been awash with cricketers wishing Taylor well in his recovery, some of which can be read below:
