Chris Jordan has claimed that England were pleased with their bowling performance on the second day of the first Test against the West Indies.
After being dismissed for 399 in the opening session of the day in Antigua, England made early inroads to reduce the hosts to 99-4 before Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Jermaine Blackwood led the recovery to help their side reach 155-4 at stumps.
Despite failing to expose the tail in the latter stages of the day, Jordan believes that the tourists can be happy with the display and he remains hopeful that quick wickets in the morning will swing the match in their favour.
"Jimmy got us off and running with the first wicket, and the rest of us tried to back that up, which I thought we did pretty well," Jordan, who took the wicket of Darren Bravo, told reporters.
"We're just trying to group balls as a bowling unit and create pressure.
"As a group we try and win every session, so we'll come back as hard as we can to break this partnership, then make inroads into the tail."
The hosts will resume 244 runs behind with Chanderpaul (29*) and Blackwood (30*) at the crease.
