England captain Eoin Morgan has insisted that Jos Buttler can put his recent Test woes behind him during the upcoming Twenty20 and one-day international matches against Pakistan.
Having posted 156 runs in his past 12 innings at an average of just 13, wicketkeeper Buttler was dropped for the recent third Test in Sharjah.
However, Morgan has backed the 25-year-old to rediscover his form in the limited-overs format of the game.
"I am confident he can recapture his form. In the last four years, he's been outstanding and has shown glimpses of world-class ability," Morgan told reporters.
"He plays a formidable role within our squad, he holds some fantastic records and he's keen to come out and express himself in this series."
Buttler has scored 1,467 runs in his 61 one-day appearances for England.
