Kevin Pietersen will "do anything" to make England return

Kevin Pietersen reiterates his desire to represent England at international level once more, claiming that he will do all that he can to make it happen.

Kevin Pietersen has admitted that he would "love" to regain his place in the England fold following his sacking from the side last year.

The 34-year-old was ousted in February 2014 and told his international career was as good as over with England looking to rebuild.

However, England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Colin Graves has hinted that there could be a return on the cards for Pietersen should he impress at domestic level.

"I would love to get county runs," Pietersen told BBC Sport. "I have expressed my interest in trying to get back into county cricket. If I can do anything that can help me get back into it for England then it's something I want to do. I love playing for England."

Pietersen has agreed to play for Indian Premier League side Sunrisers Hyderabad in this year's tournament, and that contract would need to be drawn to a close before he can join an English county.

Surrey are among those said to be interested in the man who scored 8,181 runs in his 104 Tests for England.
