England spinner Graeme Swann has been passed fit for today's ICC Champions Trophy clash with Sri Lanka at The Oval.
The 34-year-old missed the 48-run victory over Australia after sustaining a back injury during training.
"Swanny is fit," skipper Alastair Cook told reporters. "His injury was a strange one.
"He must have jarred his back in training and woke up with a stiff back the next day. That can happen but at the moment he is back and available for selection."
Swann's return to fitness looks like bad news for Kent off-breaker James Tredwell, who stepped in for the Nottinghamshire man at Edgbaston.
