England set India a modest target of 207 to win the fourth ODI between the teams in Birmingham.

England have set India a modest target of 207 to win the fourth one-day international between the sides at Edgbaston.

The hosts are currently 0-2 down in the series and must come out on top in Birmingham if they want to avoid a series defeat.

England, who were put into bat first, got off to a poor start at the crease as Alex Hales (6) and Alastair Cook (9) were both dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the first five overs to leave the home side on 16-2.

Gary Ballance fared little better out in the middle, making just seven runs before being sent back to the pavilion by Mohammed Shami.

However, solid knocks of 44 and 32 from Joe Root and Eoin Morgan respectively got England back on track, but a disappointing score of 11 from Jos Buttler saw the middle order wobble.

Despite England struggling for runs, Moeen Ali hit an impressive 67 off 51 balls to boost their total before he was finally bowled out by Ravichandran Ashwin.

Chris Woakes (11) put up some resistance in the lower order, though Steven Finn (2), James Anderson (1*) and Harry Gurney (3) failed to make an impact with the bat.
