India captain Virat Kohli has fallen three runs short of another century on day one of the third Test against England on Saturday.
The 29-year-old, who scored his first hundred in England in the first Test of the series, made 97 before being dismissed by Adil Rashid.
Kohli had shared a partnership of 159 with Ajinkya Rahane - who scored 81 – to put India in a strong position at Trent Bridge.
Although both the skipper and Rahane were removed before reaching three figures, India still reached the close in a healthy position on 307-6.
The tourists were set to end the day in a very strong position, only for James Anderson to remove Hardik Pandya with the final delivery.
India will be hoping to post a first-innings total of around 400 as they attempt to get back into the series against England, who are 2-0 up and aiming to seal victory.
