Pakistan extend their lead over England to 228 runs after reaching tea on day three of the second Test on 92-3.

Pakistan have reached tea on day three of the second Test match with England on 92-3, extending their lead to 228 runs.

During the morning session, England lost their last seven wickets for just 60 runs to gift their hosts a commanding advantage of 136, and they started their second innings looking to initiate a charge that would put the game out of England's reach.

However, England struck twice in the opening eight overs to halt Pakistan's momentum as James Anderson and Mark Wood dismissed Shan Masood and Shoaib Malik respectively.

A 67-run partnership for the third wicket saw Pakistan establish a lead of over 200 runs, but England were boosted by the wicket of Mohammad Hafeez, who hit two sixes during a knock of 51 before Wood picked up his second dismissal.

Younis Khan remains at the crease on 30, with Misbah-ul-Haq adding three to the total before the end of the session.
