Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir has been rated doubtful for Wednesday's Twenty20 international against England at Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old suffered concussion while attempting to take a catch during the fourth Test between the two sides at the Oval last week.
Despite participating in yesterday's practice session, team manager Shivlal Yadav has revealed that Gambhir has not fully recovered from his injury.
"He said that he could not see the ball at times when it came at full speed," said Yadav.
"He will be taken to an eye specialist in Manchester on Tuesday. Based on what the specialist says we will have to wait for the next step."
Gambhir will open the batting for the tourists should he be declared fit.
