England have posted 353 runs for the loss of five wickets at lunch on day two of the second Test against New Zealand in Wellington.
The tourists started the morning on 267-2 following the dismissals of Alastair Cook and centurion Nick Compton on Wednesday.
The second day started disappointingly for England with Jonathan Trott failing to add to his overnight score of 121 when he was caught by Trent Boult off the bowling of BJ Watling.
Next to go was Ian Bell for 11 as he presented Peter Fulton with a simple catch from a Bruce Martin delivery.
Kevin Pietersen soon notched up his 50 from 112 balls, but England were another man down shortly after with Watling and Martin combining to see off Joe Root for 10.
Pietersen ended the session on 68, while Matt Prior made 15 before a break in play.
