Ross Taylor's century sees New Zealand set Pakistan a victory target of 261 runs in the second Test in Dubai.

New Zealand have set Pakistan a victory target of 261 on the final day of the second Test match in Dubai.

Ross Taylor struck his 12th Test century to see the Black Caps increase their overnight lead, which stood at 177 runs at the end of play on day four.

The 30-year-old was stumped on 104 by Yasir Shah while adding 60 for the seventh wicket with 34-run Mark Craig.

Tim Southee struck 20 in five balls to help extend New Zealand's advantage further before being holed out, which led to Brendon McCullum signalling the declaration.

Pakistan, who lead the three-match series 1-0, have 72 overs to chase down the target.
