Essex have handed two-year contracts to young bowling duo Tymal Mills and Tom Craddock.
Pace-bowler Mills has worked his way up through the ranks at the Chelmsford-based club this season, taking 3-48 on his Championship debut against Leicestershire last month.
"I am very pleased to have signed my new contract with Essex as the hard work I have put in this year has now paid off for me," the 19-year-old told the club's official website.
"I am excited about looking forward and continuing to work hard throughout the winter, then establishing a regular place in the squad next season."
Leg spin bowler Craddock has been given a deal after impressing on trial with the Unicorns.
"I'm absolutely delighted with signing a two-year contract with Essex as this is something I have been working towards for a while now," said Craddock.
"I have fitted into the group really well and there is an excellent set of lads at Essex who have made me feel very welcome. It's a great team and it's good to now be fully part of it."
The 22-year-old has taken 19 wickets during Essex's Cyldesdale Bank 40 campaign.
