Monty Panesar has signed a three-year contract extension with Sussex, the county have confirmed.
The fresh deal will keep the spin-bowler at the Probiz County Ground until 2015.
Having agreed terms, Panesar, who took 69 wickets in the County Championship Division One last season, has now set his sights on a return to the England fold.
"I am delighted to have pledged my future to Sussex and I am equally pleased in the commitment that the club have shown to me," he told the club's official website.
"The club is going through an exciting period and I'm looking forward to helping them challenge for trophies.
"I aim to repay their faith by continuing my good form in all formats of the game whilst also improving my chances of reclaiming my place in the England side."
The 29-year-old will spend this winter playing for Sydney-based club side Randwick Petersham.
