Jonathan Trott has committed the next three years of his domestic career to Warwickshire by penning a new contract.

The 33-year-old England international, who took a break from the game in November last year due to stress and anxiety, has won two County Championships and one CB40 title with the team after signing his first professional deal in 2003.

"Warwickshire CCC is a very special club for me and my family and I would like to thank everyone associated with the club for their support," Trott told the club's official website.

"It has always been a great honour to represent the Bears and I am delighted to commit to the club once again for a further three years. Hopefully we can build on the success of this year by achieving greater success in the years to come."

The batsman, who has earned 49 Test and 68 one-day caps for England, has scored 14,681 first class runs in his career so far.
