Yorkshire have won the County Championship title for a second consecutive season.

Jason Gillespie's side have become the first team since Durham in 2008 and 2009 to lift back-to-back championships.

Yorkshire bowled second-placed Middlesex out for just 106 at Lord's this morning, meaning that only Nottinghamshire could catch them.

Notts needed to score 350 in their first innings against Durham at Trent Bridge to maintain their hopes of the title, but they were bowled out for 204, which ensured that Yorkshire will finish top of the pile once more.

Yorkshire required six points from their match against Middlesex and gained three bonus points by skittling out the hosts, with Ryan Sidebottom taking five wickets and Tim Bresnan four.

Yorkshire are the most successful side in County Championship history, having won the title 32 times and shared it on one occasion.
