Pakistan batsman Younis Khan has dismissed claims from a "fake" Twitter account that he is ready to retire from one-day international cricket.
A tweet from a supposedly official Younis profile on Wednesday suggested that the 37-year-old was going to focus purely on Test matches after the World Cup.
Younis has only scored 78 runs in his last eight ODIs, but has insisted that he is not planning on hanging up his boots and is determined to rediscover his best form.
"I have no Twitter account and [the story about my retirement is] fake," he told AFP.
"I am working hard to come good in batting and have not decided anything like that."
Younis, who has rejoined Yorkshire for the 2015 season, has scored 7,203 ODI runs at an average of 31.31 since debuting in 2000.
