Sri Lanka are bowled all out for 225 against Pakistan in their fourth one-day international in Abu Dhabi today.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 225 in their fourth one-day international match against Pakistan today.

Pakistan struck early with the ball when Kushal Perera was caught by Misbah-ul-Haq off the bowling of Omar Gul in just the second over having made eight runs.

Gul got his second wicket two overs later when he expertly swung the ball back in to knock over the stumps of Tillakaratne Dilshan, who also made just eight.

Dinesh Chandimal came and went for five after Misbah again made the catch from Gul's bowling before Sri Lanka were finally able to forge a decent partnership when Kumar Sangakkara and Ashan Priyanjan made 89 together.

That partnership was broken up in the 29th over when Sangakkara was run out having just made his half-century, while Priyanjan was clean bowled by Junaid Khan seven overs later having made 74.

Nuwan Kulasekara came into the attack but made just one from seven balls before being caught and bowled by Saeed Ajmal to leave Sri Lanka in a spot of bother at 170-6.

Angelo Mathews and Kithuruwan Vithanage steadied the ship with a partnership of 40, but that was soon obliterated by Ajmal, who got the wickets of Mathews and Sachithra Senanayake in consecutive balls.

Ajmal was unable to clinch a hat-trick on his next ball, but Pakistan wouldn't have to wait much longer for their ninth wicket as Sohaib Maqsood caught Vithanage off the bowling of Khan for 27.

Lasith Malinga lasted just five balls before being caught by Umar Akmal for Ajmal's fourth wicket of the day, leaving Pakistan with a target of 226 to win.
