Pakistan produced a spirited late fightback to defeat South Africa in their opening Super Eight match at the Twenty20 World Cup.
Umar Gul turned the game on its head with 32 runs off 17 balls to help Pakistan close out a two-wicket victory.
South Africa had struggled in the first innings and could only post 133-6, with the silver lining coming in the form of 48 runs from Jean-Paul Duminy.
After a mediocre start from Pakistan's opening batsman, Umar Akmal (43) brought their charge to life, allowing Gul to lead the team to an unlikely victory.
