South Africa have thrashed Pakistan by nine wickets in the first of two Twenty20 matches between the sides in Dubai.
Pakistan made 98-9 from their full 20 overs before the Proteas reached their target with just under six overs remaining.
Umar Akmal top scored at the crease for Pakistan with a knock of 49, but Shahid Afridi (12), Shoaib Malik (12) and Abdul Razzaq (10) were the only other players who made it into double figures.
Dale Steyn claimed three wickets for South Africa, while Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Imran Tahir also got in on the act with two apiece.
Unbeaten scores of 48 and 37 from Quinton de Kock and Faf du Plessis respectively pushed South Africa towards their required total, while Hashim Amla also contributed with 13 before he was dismissed by Sohail Tanvir.
