Sri Lanka have claimed a one-day series win over England thanks to a resounding 90-run victory in Pallekele.
The hosts made 292-7 before they bowled the tourists out for 202 with around 10 overs remaining to take an unassailable 4-2 lead in the seven-match series.
Kumar Sangakkara (112) and Tillakaratne Dilshan (68) scored the bulk of the Sri Lankan runs, while 35 from Dinesh Chandimal towards the end of the innings helped his side push towards the 300-run mark.
Steven Finn, Chris Woakes and Chris Jordan all took two wickets apiece for England, who also had James Tredwell claim a victim with the ball.
The visitors saw their run chase get off to a poor start as captain Alastair Cook's was bowled lbw by Sachithra Senanayake in the first over for just one run.
Moeen Ali (34) and Joe Root (55) put up a bit more resistance at the top of the order, but disappointing scores from James Taylor (10), Ravi Bopara (13) and Eoin Morgan, who was bowled for a duck, compounded their problems at the crease.
Jos Buttler (22), Woakes (41) and Tredwell (19) fought valiantly as the game headed into the final 10 overs, only for the Sri Lankan bowlers to clean up and seal the victory.
Suranga Lakmal ended with figures of 4-30 for the home side, while Senanayake finished with three wickets and Dilshan with two.
