Somerset have secured the signing of New Zealand wicketkeeper-batsman Luke Ronchi for five Natwest T20 Blast matches this summer.
The 34-year-old will replace compatriot Corey Anderson, who was injured in the recent Test series against England.
"[Ronchi] is an excellent wicketkeeper, an explosive batsman, and I am sure our members and supporters will enjoy the brand of cricket that he plays," Somerset director of cricket Matthew Maynard told the club website.
Ronchi is currently playing for the Black Caps in the one-day international series against England, but he will join up with Somerset next week and play his first match against Middlesex Panthers next Friday.
