South Africa are confident that Dale Steyn will recover from sinusitis to play in their World Cup match against India on Sunday.
The 31-year-old paceman was suffering from flu-like symptoms in the opening-game win over Zimbabwe and recorded underwhelming figures of 1-64 from nine overs.
Defending champions India are expected to be a much greater test of South Africa's title credentials, and Steyn is likely to feature in a potential Pool B decider despite his illness continuing to hamper him.
"He has a bout of sinusitis but will be back at training tomorrow," the team's media manager Lerato Malekutu told reporters.
The Proteas beat Zimbabwe by 62 runs, while India overcame arch rivals Pakistan in their first match of the tournament.
