South Africa captain Faf du Plessis will play no part in Saturday's World Twenty20 group clash against England due to maintaining a slow over-rate.
The 29-year-old was hit with the one-match ban by the International Cricket Council following the Proteas' victory over the Netherlands on Thursday.
Du Plessis was fined 40% of his match fee following a caution earlier in the tournament, but due to a second breach, the cricketer will have to sit out of his side's final group match.
AB de Villiers is expected to captain the side in Chittagong tomorrow.
