Pakistan crumble in their opening innings of the second Test against South Africa by losing four wickets for 60 runs by lunch.

Pakistan have had a poor start to the second Test against South Africa in Cape Town by losing four wickets by lunch in their opening innings.

The visitors, who trail by one in the series, were dealt an early blow when Nasir Jamshed was caught out by AB de Villiers following a Vernon Philander bowl for just three runs.

Opening batsman Mohammad Hafeez could only muster 17 runs from 35 balls, while Morne Morkel managed to add to the Proteas' early wicket haul by getting Azhar Ali out for just four runs in the 16th over.

Morkel piled more misery onto Pakistan by swiftly dismissing Misbah-ul-Haq for a duck, leaving the visitors at just 33-4 at the time.

Younis Khan, who remains not out on 24, was able to steady Pakistan by slowly increasing their run-rate, while Asad Shafiq is still unbeaten on 11 runs as Pakistan sit at 60-4 at lunch.
