Albie Morkel has been recalled to the South Africa squad for the Twenty20 World Cup.
The 32-year-old had not turned out for the Proteas since the previous tournament in Sri Lanka two years ago.
However, along with young bowler Beuran Hendricks, he has been named as part of the travelling party for the upcoming competition in Bangladesh.
"Beuran's claims could not be ignored and the experience that Albie will bring on board is important for a high profile tournament of this nature," said chairman of selectors Andrew Hudson.
