AB de Villiers has guided South Africa home to a four-wicket victory over Pakistan as the sides met in their third ODI encounter at Centurion today.
The home side were set a comfortable chase of 180 earlier in the day and made good in-roads into the score early on with Hashim Amla notching 41 before being run out.
South Africa experienced a slight wobble as Saeed Ajmal got rid of Henry Davids cheaply, before JP Duminy and youngster David Miller went soon after.
However, De Villiers looked in good form as he produced a sensible 48 not-out to ensure his side grabbed victory with the best part of 11 overs to spare.
Earlier in the day South Africa's bowlers produced a good display as they restricted Pakistan to 179 runs, having bowled them out within 47 overs.
Pakistan's only resistance came from Misbah-ul-Haq who made an unbeaten 79, while Umar Amin and Sohaib Maqsood both made 25 runs each.
Vernon Philander was the pick of the South African bowlers as he took three wickets for 26 runs from his 10 overs, while Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Ryan McLaren and Imran Tahir picked up two wickets each.
