West Indies batsman Johnson Charles has been called up to the World Cup squad as a replacement for the injured Darren Bravo.
It was confirmed on Friday that Bravo would miss the rest of the tournament with a hamstring injury he picked up while batting in the victory over Pakistan.
The West Indies have responded by drafting in Charles, who has averaged 28.96 with the bat in his 30 ODI appearances.
Charles has not played on the international stage since last March, but he is now in contention to meet Pool B rivals India in Perth on Friday.
