India beat the West Indies by 59 runs in their fourth one-day international amid a reported dispute between the West Indies Cricket Board and their players.

India have taken a 2-1 lead in their five-match one-day series against the West Indies by securing a 59-run victory in Dharamsala.

The contest was dominated by a reported pay dispute between the players and the West Indies Cricket Board, which caused the Indian body to reveal that their opponents' tour has been called off.

However the WICB released a statement of their owning claiming that nothing has been cancelled, which suggests that the upcoming Twenty20 match and three-Test series will go ahead.

India took a commanding score in their innings by reaching 330-6 after 50 overs in the fourth one-dayer, with Virat Kohli top-scoring with 127 runs from 114 deliveries.

Opening batsman Ajinkya Rahane (68) and Suresh Raina (71) earned half-centuries in Dharamsala, but MS Dhoni could only muster six runs after getting run out by Kieron Pollard.

In reply, the West Indies were dealt an early blow when opener Dwyane Smith was dismissed for a duck, with his nation having secured just one run at the time.

Darren Bravo led the charge, but was sent packing 10 runs shy of a half-century by getting bowled out by Akshar Patel, who claimed two wickets during the innings.

Andre Russell (46) contributed to the effort, while Marlon Samuels reached his century before getting bowled out by Mohammed Shami on 112.

Despite Samuels's efforts, the West Indies could only reach 271 all out with 11 balls remaining.
