American cyclist Lance Armstrong has changed his Twitter bio as a response to the International Cycling Union's decision to strip him of his seven Tour de France titles.
Cycling's world governing body came to the decision to remove Armstrong's victories, which were won consecutively between 1999 and 2005, after reading through the United States Anti-Doping Agency's report, which provided evidence of Armstrong taking performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career.
While Armstrong has yet to verbally respond to the decision, the Texan has deleted the reference to his Tour de France wins and replaced the bio with: "Raising my 5 kids. Fighting Cancer. Swim, bike, run and golf whenever I can."
Meanwhile, Armstrong could be forced to return £2.4m prize money that he accumulated from his Tour victories.
