Chris Froome has clinched a third Criterium du Dauphine title in four years, despite fellow Briton Stephen Cummings winning the final stage of the race.
The 31-year-old Team Sky rider beat Romain Bardet into second place by 12 seconds and Dan Martin into third by 19 seconds.
Cummings won the final stage from Le-Pont-de-Claix to Superdevoluy, but it was Froome who added to his 2013 and 2015 titles on Sunday.
Froome followed up his previous two Dauphine wins with victories at the Tour de France, with this year's edition beginning on July 2.
