Jason Kenny backs teammates Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton and Laura Trott to deliver further cycling success on Tuesday.

Great Britain's triple gold medal-winning cyclist Jason Kenny has said that he expects his team to win more medals before the Olympic Games is over.

Kenny secured his second victory of London 2012 with a dominant performance in Monday's individual sprint.

Team GB have three more chances for gold on Tuesday as Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton and Laura Trott aim for more success in the velodrome.

Kenny has backed his teammates to deliver and pass Beijing's medal haul of seven gold medals in cycling.

He said: "Chris is quite complete when it comes to keirin racing. It will take something pretty special to beat him. There's no reason, barring any major incidents, that Chris won't be driving it home.

"And Victoria, she's on fire. She's worked on her weaknesses to the point where she hasn't really got many to exploit."

Hoy and Pendleton are both aiming for impressive milestones in their respective events on Tuesday.

Pendleton will become Britain's most successful female Olympian ahead of Kelly Holmes and Rebecca Adlington with gold, while Hoy is trying to surpass Sir Steve Redgrave and become Team GB's top Olympian with a sixth gold in the Keirin.
