Poland's Rafal Majka rode clear on the final climb to take victory on stage 14 of the Tour de France, while Vincenzo Nibali finished second to extend his overall lead.
Majka, 24, broke away with 10km of the 177km stage to go, and held on to secure a first stage win for his Tinkoff-Saxo team, with Nibali coming in 24 seconds behind.
The 29-year-old now leads second-placed Alejandro Valverde by four minutes and 37 seconds.
British riders Geraint Thomas and Simon Yates were in a break that was caught on the final climb to Risoul.
