Team Wales cyclist Elinor Barker has said that she is "extremely disappointed" to miss out on the women's 3,000m individual pursuit final in the Commonwealth Games tonight.
Barker, a double world champion in track cycling, failed to qualify for the medal stages of the event after finishing seventh in qualification this afternoon.
"Extremely disappointed with seventh today," she wrote on Twitter.
"Miles off the times I've been hitting in training. Beaten by some very classy riders though and I will spending the rest of the day cheering for Joanna Rowsell and Katie Archibald in their gold and bronze finals!"
Tonight's final will take place at some point between 4pm and 6.30pm.
