Adrian Lewis has retained the PDC World Darts Championship following a 7-3 victory over Andy Hamilton in the final at Alexandra Palace.
Lewis took the first set before Hamilton, a surprise finalist in many people's eyes, responded by levelling the match.
The pair exchanged sets once more, but Lewis then moved into a 4-2 lead after taking back-to-back sets.
Hamilton fought back by winning the next, but "The Jackpot" then reeled off four successive sets to clinch a second straight crown.
Lewis nearly put the icing on the cake with a nine-dart finish in the third set, but missed the decisive double 12 to prevent there being a repeat of his feat in last year's final.
The victory makes the Stoke-born thrower is only the second player to retain the title after his mentor Phil "The Power" Taylor.
