Simon Whitlock produced the performance of the tournament so far as he demolished Ronnie Baxter 10-1 with a 109 average to move through to a quarter-final tie with Gary Anderson, who recorded a 10-7 victory over Robert Thornton.

Kim Huybrechts recorded an impressive 10-6 win over Michael Smith and he will now play Peter Wright, who defeated Wayne Jones 10-7.
