Phil Taylor has warned his rivals that he feels "relaxed" about defending his Grand Slam of Darts title in Wolverhampton.
The 16-time world champion recorded an average of 114.65 - the highest ever posted at the event - in beating Christian Kist on Sunday evening, but the Stoke-on-Trent thrower believes that he still has work to do to find his "A" game later in the week.
The 54-year-old is quoted by PDC.TV: "Christian was superb and he put me under pressure, and it was a great game.
"I'm relaxed and I think I'm going to play well this week. I've still got some work to do but this was a great win for me."
Taylor is all but assured of his place in the last 16 but he can confirm top spot by defeating Andy Hamilton on Tuesday night.
