Dutch starlet Michael van Gerwen stormed past Dean Winstanley this afternoon to create an intriguing Grand Slam final against countryman Raymond van Barneveld.
Van Gerwen was in complete control from the outset against Winstanley, winning the first five legs in succession with minimum fuss.
The 23-year-old produced an effortless 134 checkout on the way to a comfortable 16-8 victory.
He will meet Van Barneveld in tonight's final after the former world champion edged out Andy Hamilton in the first match of the day.
Hamilton started strongly and had a 3-0 lead in the early stages before Van Barneveld rolled the back the years with an inspired comeback.
Van Barneveld produced a 100 checkout to seal the match 10-16 in a scoreline which barely reflected a keenly-contested encounter.
The Dutch destroyers will meet in tonight's final in Wolverhampton at around 7pm.
