Simon Whitlock has reached the semi-finals of the PDC World Darts Championship after staving off a memorable comeback to beat Ian White.
The Australian, who hit 15 180s, led 4-1 before White fought back to level at 4-4, forcing the match into a deciding ninth set.
Despite the momentum being with the Stoke-on-Trent thrower, Whitlock managed to hold his nerve to win the decider by four legs to two.
He will now face 16th seed Peter Wright on Monday night for a place in the final, which will take place on New Year's Day.
